Nationwide Services Events Team Continue Their Close Partnership With British Athletics By Helping The Successful Delivery Of The Athletics World Cup – London Stadium 2018

Following the success of the 2017 World Championships NWS were called upon by British Athletics to support this event, building on the experience gained in previous years NWS knew our team were well positioned to deliver another successful event.

Once again NWS were able to offer British Athletics a “one-stop shop” for their supporting services allowing their team to get on with the business of looking after the track and field events. Now integrated within the British Athletics Project Office NWS were able to work seamlessly with them to deliver a wide range of support services including supply of various items of plant and equipment, furniture, accommodation and welfare facilities, not to mention those many small things thrown up by the project as it progresses.

Calling upon the services of our previously used labour suppliers we were able to offer a range of experienced staff who could hit the ground running to assist with the initial rig out of the stadium, during event support and the de-rig to return the stadium to West Ham Football Club in a timely fashion.

Everyone within British Athletics commended NWS on their level of commitment and support to deliver a successful event and we were proud to once again be involved in such a diverse and challenging project.
