AWS Nationwide to show support to Mind Charity’s 2023 Time to Talk Day
Organised and ran by Mental Health Charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, the annual Time to Talk Day takes place on 2nd February this year.
With the aim of not only raising awareness of Mental Health, but creating positive communities throughout the country, Mind’s Time to Talk Day aims to encourage more conversations around the topic than ever before. Not just England, the campaign stretches across the UK, with SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) and See Me in Scotland, Inspire and Change Your Mind in Northern Ireland and Time to Change Wales.
This year, the AWS Nationwide team of mental health first aiders have organised for the business to get involved and show its support by running a #itstimetotalk painting activity throughout the week, aiming to spread awareness to its colleagues and encourage positive conversations amongst colleagues and the community.
Part of the creative fun will see AWS Nationwide host a colouring club for members of the team to take part in, encouraging not only some creative fun and mindfulness but a chance to write a supportive #itstimetotalk message to spread awareness across the business and the local community. The intention with the painted rocks is to distribute these around the local area as a conversation starter to promote mental health for those that find them.
